Our Team

We bring different perspectives to the table, but we’re united by a love for Jesus, children, and education.

I am the mother of 2 sons, 2 daughters and grandmother to a host of little ones! I’ve been in the childcare field in various capacities for several years while previously working to solidify a separate career path at Ford Motor Company. I have obtained a Diploma in Business from Dorsey Business Schools in Wayne MI (1992); an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Davenport University in Livonia MI (2010); and an Associate Degree in Occupational Studies majoring in Child Care Professionalism and Development from Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, MI (2017). I became a licensed home childcare provider in 2003 and later volunteered in various capacities at childcare facilities throughout the years. I am a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serve alongside my husband as Co-Pastor of Fellowship Christian Center, located in Ypsilanti MI. I’ve served in Children’s ministry in various capacities, for over 20+ years.

I am the mother of 2 sons and 1 daughter. I’ve worked in the school systems of Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor, and Belleville, Michigan for over 7 years as a paraprofessional, working with and teaching children with behavioral challenges. I’ve also provided in-home services as an ABA therapist, working one-on-one with children in their homes who have difficulties in a formal school setting. Currently, I am homeschooling my 3 children throughout the day (a fulfilling accomplishment I’ve taken on for the last few years). I, too, have worked in Children’s Ministry for several years in various capacities teaching, assisting, and creating an environment for young ones to thrive through song and dance expression! I will soon obtain certification as a licensed Social Worker through Washtenaw Community College, strengthening my capacity to help children excel! I have written several children’s books: “Carry Character,” “Alphabet Affirmation,” and “Alphabet Animals,” to name a few; all of which are designed to build and strengthen the character of our young learners.
